In March and June of 2014, respectively we presented each paper at the annual conference of Association for Asian Studies in Philadelphia and the North American Taiwan Studies Association conference in the university of Wisconsin-Madison.
Particularly in the later one we joined in the same panel on the basis of the findings of our research projects.
Through participating in academic occasions like these Dr. Wu had a chance to share his work with other specialists and discuss with them on the findings. Also for me, a continued interchange and international network of research activities with those scholars in Canada and the United States has been established through D. Wu's cordination and Taiwan Studies' network in English. Further academic cooperation on migration issues is highly expected.
